Super cheap load balancing "This will work until I figure out why the real load balancing box that happens to have failed in it's job of collecting dust and the CPU melted in it's socket and caused the RAM to short out so you need new RAM" hack. Get two consumer routers. Set the DHCP ranges to the same subnet but specify different ranges. Plug each one in to it's own internet connection. Finished. The result: The router that is fastest with it's DHCP response (that is to say is under the least load) gets the new client while the other maintains it's current load.
