I've test driven lots of cars when my mom was looking to buy and she wanted my opinion and if its between audi and lexus I'd say go audi. They drive nicer in my opinion. But you should make her test drive them herself. It's all about personal preference. And check out a few car forums. There's one for every make these days. There you'll find out what kind of maintenance problems whatever car has and how much parts are going to cost and so on and so forth.

I could see this toy being one of this things that is fun for about an hour or so but winds up being stored away in a cupboard for the remainder of its life.

lol it ain't that bad here. Just stay in crowded areas. Manhattan is generally pretty safe. Most places you can't count to 30 without seeing a cop. OH if your over 21 take the green line to astor place. You'll see 2 starbucks across the street from each other. Across the street from the one with the outdoor area is a bar called the continental (used to be a club like CBGBs, my band was supposed to play there once but show was overbooked so i got wasted instead) anyway check out that bar. 5 shots of whatever for 10 bucks.

I'd buy online if I were you. And if your going buy any electronics in the city, buy from chain stores (ie best buy, circuit city, etc) the small little shops tend to be much more expensive and alot of the time your buying something refurbished. Particularly the ones on 5th ave. around the empire state building. Thieving bastards... anyway have fun while your here. Oh check out pop burger its on either 14th street or 15th street on or around 8th ave. A bit expensive but the burgers are pretty good, and they have a little booth in the back that plays porn. It's next to the bar in the back. And yes. I am completely serious. I worked there for 2 days. Kitchen + summer = hells no.

You can try stopping by lord and taylor on 38th and 5th. They put up Christmas windows during the holiday season. My mom used to take me to see it every year when I was a kid. Its usually a different Christmas story every year. And since you mentioned extreme sports u might want to check out the Brooklyn banks. Just take the green subway line to chambers street and ask one of the cops in the booths by the courthouses and they'll point you in the right direction. There's another skate spot nearby but I don't remember exactly where it is. I just know how to get there from the banks. If you wanna know where it is I'll stop by it this week and find out where it is exactly. Both spots are underneath a bridge so unless the weather really sucks you should be able to have some fun. Oh and check out the tree at Rockefeller Center. I'd shy away from skating there though its pretty pricey. Bryant park has a free ice skating rink. You only pay for skate rentals ($12) if you need them.

lol I knew it wasn't real. I mean cmon a piece of code that alters the CPU's current and molecular structure to make it explode, and blow someones family to "smithereens". thats like wearing gloves when installing ram cuz u don't wanna get a computer virus. it just cracked me up. figured id share the laugh.

i'm in. I've already done a bunch of this stuff and several others are on my to do list, like getting my tech license. noobs go to radioshack and pick up "now your talking" its the test guide your going to need. make sure its the current version the fcc likes to change its rules as often as their crotches itch.

i still don't understand why countries pour so much money into the military and new ways to invade privacy. money like that would be better spent on schools, health care, curing the many diseases that plague mankind, or trying to reverse the relentless damage we do this planet. i weep for the future of mankind. i'm pretty sure within the next thousand years earth is no longer going to be able sustain life.

I'm pretty sure that it is just the power supply, because it wouldn't even turn on when plugged in (I also tried a different cord/outlet.) Thanks guys, but I think this stuff is a bit too much trouble to go through for a trashed monitor.
you could try to find the same monitor on ebay with a cracked screen or something and just swap em out

Get some inspiration from the episodes, mod your case/ keyboard or whatever. Or just start doing some random stuff. Build your own wireless antenna,... Be creative and... trust your technolust!
I've already done a bunch of them. and almost everything i own is already modded in some way or form. with the exception of my guitar hero controller... at least until i get the controllers i ordered on ebay. but now that i think about it all my computers a bit out of date. it may be time to build a new one. hmmm... i have been drooling over the lian li 343b. perhaps a i shall build a monster of a server. throw in that quad core amd processor my friend has been bragging about having. ooooooh it'll be water-cooled i always wanted one of those. with uv reactive liquid in it... and i'll trace over the circuits with uv reactive ink. god dammit where's my credit card!!!

hello. somewhat new to hak5. found episode 1 on youtube randomly. instantly hooked. binged myself through all the episodes. loved every single one of them. hope you guys get the hak house all fixed up. now all i gotta do is figure out how to put myself in suspended animation until season 4 comes out. keep up the good work. mad props to you all.

I used to work in a mom and pop computer repair shop. My first day was doing a ram upgrade.
client:"shouldn't you be wearing gloves?"
me:"not really. why?"
client:"can't you get a computer virus like that?"
I quickly walked away and laughed until i cried.
