Hello All, I am considering to install my own VPN server to surf anonymously and change my IP to an American one. This tutorial explains how to setup Open VPN on a VPS (DO) i am wondering is OpenVPN necessary or i could go for an L2TP installation as it seems to be much easier to install and easier to maintain. Is L2TP really unsafe as I could read it around online? Thanks for your inputs.
