Hey everyone, in an attempt to learn how to use the pineapple I want to use the pineapple as a wifi relay to connect my home wifi to my phone when I am in school (cracking the schools wifi is most likely frowned upon). I only live 1.3 - 1.5 miles from my school, so my thought was to have a large antenna at my house connected to my desktop/router and 2 smaller ones on the pineapple in my locker so I can connect to it whenever I'm in school. My questions are, how large of an antenna do I need? Will my metal locker interfere with the wifi? I have watch this hak5 video but didn't completely understand it, could someone give a much more simplified description of the video? Thanks for all the help, ~ Sam

Hey everybody, me and my friend have both order MK5s so that we can learn about linux and programing. I'm a competent windows user, and have little experience when it comes to programing, and I have even less exerience when it comes to programing for linux. My end goal for this whole project it to use the MK5 to connect to a phone and copy it's contacts and pictures to an sd card or my phone. My question is, where do i start? I've never done anything with linux, are there tutorials? (inb4 ewwww windows user)

yes, plugging a usb bluetooth dongle into the usb port so that you can connect your pineapple to your phone.

Hey everyone! I just received my mark 5 and was looking for a way to use low power bluetooth to save battery on my phone. I looked on the forum and haven't seen anything, is that because it won't work or because there is no need for it?
