  1. Hello,
I forgot my root password so I factory reset the device.
Now I navigate to 172.16.42.1, to get the [First Screen]

    Welcome to your WiFi Pineapple.
Find support, infusions, news and forums at WiFiPineapple.com.
    Continue

I click continue and it takes me to a page to set a new password.

After I set the new password, this screen shows up:

Password set successfullyThe system is now completing the setup.
Please wait while the system restarts.
For best performance you are advised to format the Micro SD card ext4. To do so click Resouces then USB Info then Format SD Card.
Then a "Finish" button appears. I click it and then it takes me back to the first screen. It asks me to enter a new password again.
I never managed to have it save the password and operate normally. All the DIPS are up but the device never moves away from the setup phase!
    Any advise?
  2. Thanks for the reply.

What I want is to redirect to another machine where Burp is running.

In the command you showed me, it does not seem to say what host should the REDIRECT redirect to.

Essentially, this is what I want:

Clients connected to Mark 5 -> Mark 5 with iptables rule for redirecting port 80 to -> Windows machine (172.16.42.42) that is running Burp

Is it possible to SSH into Mark 5 and configure it in such a way?

    Thanks

  3. Hello,

I have a Win7 machine that is acting as the gateway for the pineapple wifi.

On the same machine, I installed Burp and have it listen on all interfaces at port 8080.

How can I add a routing rule (iptables?) in Mark5 so it redirects all traffic to the Burp machine on 172.16.42.42?

    Thanks

  4. Hello,

I just got the Mark 5. I noticed that Karma, once enabled will expose an access point with open authentication.

Since I want to learn and experiment in a closed environment, I don't want people to connect to my open network.

How can I configure Karma to use WPA or WPA2?

    Thanks,

    Elias
