    That's how I started that's how half the guys on here started they search Google they learn the basics and they taught themselves what they needed to know for what they're doing I wasn't being negative I wasn't being condescending I was telling you the way it is if you don't like it sorry I can't help anymore but I'm not going to give potential criminals information on how to break laws

    So I ordered 4 all together I live in a town that 7 km long by 4 km wide I figure one plugged in at home one day and one uptown at various friends house and all I have full coverage, plus they're going to have antenna ports for WiFi and radio and I happen to be a collector of many antennas see what we can do with it my first house will be running everything through my openvpn server

    Its daddys work toy for making sure securty holes are patched by testing them        dont play with daddys toys 

    But really   your question can be anwsered in many ways    i recommend watching the pineapple intro videos where it explanes the pineapple and its features   

     

    Basically the pineapple is a mini router with linux on it with the ability to control modules for penatration testing 

    I recommend hak5 videos there is so much info in hak 5 vids   new and old     and   the crew always have fun while teaching 

    And continue to teach great things. Up to date on the Newest tools gadgets and info , as well as some great hak5 tools of there own  checkout hakshop

    Well my suggestion is doing some reading  there is lots to learn 

     

    If you goto networking tab 

    You should have  a managment ssid  

    And a open ssid     one has a hidden option   the open ap is for victims 

    The management is for you to connect to 

     

    As for getting clients to connect   please research pineap   

    I noticed a book was released  might want to pick it up   also checkout the wiki tons of great info  

     

    You will get more help if you google first

    I believe my pineapples natural habitat is my testing lab.    I could post a video but it just sits there and blinks.  

     

    Sorry if I took it to the street I wouldn't have permission from the people around me.  There for I would be breaking legal and moral laws

     

    As a hobbyist white hat   I stay in the testing environment I have permission to use. 

     

    To build your own lab I recommended checking out your local  computer recycling depot.    Many will sell old machines for cheap. Like 20$   grab a few extra boxes to use as victims.    Install xp and metsploitable on them and have fun.   

     

    Also if you have a good system. You can use VM to build a virtual lab. 

    I recommend a xp a Kali and a metsploitable
