Other than the one that comes with the pineapple? The one that comes with it is very standard and there is just so many technical difficulties I'm having with using the pineapple. It would be really nice if there was someone out there that had a tutorial that explain how the pineapple works, how to use the modules, etc. Its just like, for example, everytime I went into my pineapple, my backtrack would disconnect with my wlan0 internet, yet the pineapple was still providing internet somehow. I didn't understand that. Its things like this that aren't actually explained in any guide. Or how to properly run some of the modules. When I try running some of the modules, the pineapple will just reboot entirely.

I found a program on Backtrack 5 called gparted that could format it. Now I just have to see if that fixes my problem with the pineapple device.

Just realized I need Linux to format it into Ext4. So I'm probably going to have to install it on my machine first.

I'm going to be using a PNY 8GB thumb drive. I was just informed by my friend that you can't format a USB thumb drive into Ext4 format in Windows. So this will be the first time I'm using a linux based system like Backtrack to format it into that. The only problem with that is I've never formatted anything in Backtrack and don't know how to format a USB into Ext4. Is there a special command to do that?

What format should the USB be formatted to? FAT32?

I've just been using the wall adapter to power it. But I will format the USB and I'll come back here and let you guys know what happened.

I have it updated to the lastest firmware version. And it still does that. Okay. I'll try format the USB first, then plug it into the pineapple.

So I'm having issues having some of the modules installed. Its like some of them will install but some of them won't install even if I click install or click install on USB. It acts like its installing and then doesn't do it. http://dropcanvas.com/e6w5b
