  1. Hi,

I am new to Pineapple and have been pretty successful setting it up, however with one big exception:

I am unable to use both internal and external(USB) radio at the same time without NHA powering down and back up.

I have seen this might be related to power issues, however I am running both USB powered hub and power brick when testing this.

    lsusb output:

    lsusb Output
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 1a40:0101 Terminus Technology Inc. 4-Port HUB
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 0781:5571 SanDisk Corp.
    Bus 001 Device 004: ID 0cf3:9271 Atheros Communications, Inc. AR9271 802.11n

Sometimes after the boot I can't bring up wlan1 :

    root@Pineapple:~# ifconfig wlan1 up
    ifconfig: SIOCGIFFLAGS: No such device
This can be usually solved by replugging the NHA into the usb.
    root@Pineapple:~# iwconfig
    lo no wireless extensions.
    wlan1 IEEE 802.11bgn ESSID:off/any
    Mode:Managed Access Point: Not-Associated Tx-Power=20 dBm
    RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off
    Encryption key:off
    Power Management:off
    eth1 no wireless extensions.
    wlan0 IEEE 802.11bgn Mode:Master Tx-Power=27 dBm
    RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off
    Power Management:on
If I add another client interface via Network manager or try to set up client connection on WLAN1 via the wireless_connect.sh script the WLAN1 interface dissapears:
    root@Pineapple:~# iwconfig
    lo no wireless extensions.
    eth1 no wireless extensions.
    wlan0 IEEE 802.11bgn Mode:Master Tx-Power=27 dBm
    RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off
    Power Management:on
    eth0 no wireless extensions.
    br-lan no wireless extensions.
lsusb still sees the NHA but LED is not flashing anymore.
Any hints? I have no idea where to go next.
