  1. I'm using dd-wrt, and I poked around a bit, but couldn't seem to find what i was looking for. Did I miss something? I know I can set up static IPs but as far as content filtering to specific devices I couldnt find the option. And they will mostly use it here and at there grandparents, so I can pretty safely say that if I can figure this out, I'll be good to go.
  2. First off this is the first thread I started here, and I searched first to see if I could answer my question, but alas I still need to ask it. If this is in the wrong subforum, I apologize. My girlfriend and I got our 3 children Nexus 7's for Christmas (ages 3, 7, and 10). they are all pretty fascinated with tech so we decided it would be a good present for them. Now, I want to be able to filter the content to these devices, but still allow my girlfriend and my laptops to be able to access everything on the net, so my question is how do I accomplish this goal without putting software directly on the devices that they in turn would be able to manipulate? Or is there some kind of software for these devices that I can filter their content with, that comes with say a password so they cant access the application and just change the settings as they see fit? Thanks in advance/ - Lord Odin
  3. To answer your question, yes everything is done via SD. I have played with this phone for over a year and never once have I bricked it, and it was my first Droid. I've seen you post all over these boards, and judging by the content of your posts, I think its fair to assume you have, at the very least, the minimal amount of "tech savy " required. Furthermore it is next to impossible to brick a triumph. While they are not the greatest phones ever, they are pretty damn good, and a devs dream. As far as your "greyhat Swiss army knife" see the apps I listed in my previous post. Finally if you would like links to anything, or would like me to break something down further (I.e. the exact steps to take while flashing a rom) feel free to post here or pm me and ask. I am always more than willing to help when I can. -Lord Odin
  4. I'm actually posting this from my Triumph. I've been rocken them since they released. What exactly do you mean by, "What could take advantage of its power"? The first thing I would do is root it, which I've seen you've already done, so its time to throw clockwork recovery on it. After that I recommend installing a different rom. Personally for this exact phone I use cm 7.2 g60. Once you have flashed that season with apps to taste. Network Spoofer, USB cleaver, penetrate pro, shark, droidsheep, wifikill, nmap, and ant if you can get it. Those are all the "fun" apps I use, whatelse are you looking to do with your triumph?
  5. The USB Cleaver .APK can be downloaded from here : forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1065905&d=1337226524 and the payloads can be found here : novaspirit.com/Downloads/usbcleaver.zip Simply unzip the contents of the payload zip to the./sdcard/usbcleaver/system directory. - Damn the autocorrect on my Droid.
