  1. Just got in 3 duckys (lost my old one somewhere)

    (Script is just a hello world)

    But when I try the 2.6 or 3.0 encoder I get this error:

  2. I've sen these FPGA or ASICs used to mine bitcoins. FPGA are FAST, and stacking them kinda makes sense.

    Now bitcoin is just hash work, so pondering using these 'boxes' to crack PWs and such.

    Easy, hard, near impossible, or pointless?

  3. Did you try hooking it up to a microphone pre-amp? And have you tried looking a the resulting output on an o-scope or multimeter instead of tying to hear it? It might be outside the audible range.

    I don't think it will be much if any outside of the audible range. Why would they offer that on the phone? That jack is for a headset.

    Unless they plan on selling cell phones to dogs :)

  4. OK, here is my mobile hack rig. (well first part)

    Its in an old power tool case (kinda stealthy, at least no overly obvious, but still a target for thieves)

    I've used felt sheet (23 cents at my local Waly-world) as a base to velcro item in where I like. (Plan on adding a sheet to the back of the netbook too)

    Used noodles/pipe insulators for spacers between layers. Cardboard for layer dividers

    Open for comments/sugestions

  5. Been playing with it a bit and like it but.........

    No ftp or telnet in it?? (I'm ssh'ing into them and working on them.)

    I'm also getting errors running autocrack4.4.sh (first was no aircrack-ng installed, bypassed that now a no process on a kill command. It works on my netbooks)

  6. Can you help to answer how to convert exe file to base64 used by rubber ducky? I need it so that ducky can copy con a base 64 file and convert to exe and run it.

    Google a UUencoder for the base64 part

    (Which I believe is Unix to Unix. Back in the day ASCI was only 7 bits, so to xfer an executable, it had to be encoded to 7 bit 'bytes' for transmission)

  7. I'm trying to use an alpha HNA and a plain H to hook to my home router, and have the Pineapple pass traffic through it to my home router.

    I've gotten as far as being able to SSH in to the MKIV, start up wlan1 and can ping the world, (the UI ping, & bar works too) but no clients of the MKIV can get through.

    Now I can't wrap my head around routing tables. Here's what mine looks like now:

    wlan1 is the usb Alpha, the 192.168.1.1 is the house router (alpha's ip is 192.168.1.185)

    I tried the networkmanager but no joy there either.

  9. Hi all, not sure if this fits here, but seemed best location.

    On Mac OSX, it offers to securly erase all free space. Now I've read that its not all *that* secure, since its a journaled files system, so there is an outside chance some data can still be recovered. (and it takes a long time depending on the # of passes)

    My idea for an alternitive method would just write a script that write data to a file and just fills up the drive, then deltes (and possible multiple times)

    I'm not overly parinoid, but I would want a 100% secure method if needed.

    Good, bad, or in different idea?

  10. I have a Novatel MC760 (Virgin) that hasn't been activated, but on my Mac it will auto direct me to their website to load up the sucka.

    Can I do the same thing via the pineapple to test out the connection? via a 'victim' connecting to the pineapple.

    (I figure if I get directed, its working)

  11. Well finally sat down to play with the Ubertooth. Wanted to check out the Spec Analyzer part of it.

    And after playing on and off for about 10 years with Linux, Linux is still the same train wreck it always has been. Sorry, but as is, it will never replace windows or Mac OS. This prerequisite hell is driving me nuts. (Remember, computers are here to make life *easier* not harder. And compiling source? wtf? and please don't give me that "well you can see the code to check for malware" crap. Yea I'm sure all of you read through every line of code on every program before compiling it.)

    OK, enough of my rant :P

    I kinda forgot where in the prerequisite circle jerk I'm at, but on BT5R1, I need gmake. I get this error while trying to configure it:

    ./configure: line 23: /usr/lib/scripts/acscripts/sanitize.sh: No such file or directory

    I have no /usr/lib/scripts and beyond. So what am I missing here?

  12. I'm still on Snow Leopard (10.6.8), Parallels 6 and BT5r1 and it seems to run well with an Alpha WiFi to connect to the Pineapple.

    I think I played with wired (but currently using the wired port for ISC)

    You may have to play with the network settings in Parallels, Bridged > default adapter will hook it into the Mac's network (ie:192.168.1.x)

    I just tried to get the wired port to get an IP from the Pineapple with no luck.

    Granted I jumped into the deep ed of the pool with cement knickers on :)

    (one intention of this thread is as a pre-wiki thread)

    I've got wired tethering working. (though being thru my Mac, I need to stop/restart it randomly)

    USB drive working

    SSh working

    DNSSpoofing working (default)

    But now my Qs: (buckle up and keep hands inside the ride at all times)

    Where are the config files for various packages?

    1 - What I'd like to do is, if available, log to a USB drive for big log/capture files, or the default settings if no usb drive. (I'm hoping its just bash scripts tweaks)

    2 - I'm having trouble with the dns spoofing. The default works, kinda. It does its time out but then offers a url of www.twitter.com/twitter.com (for a twitter.com attempt)

    the redirect.php kind eludes to this, but generates an odd url in the url bar, or on an android(browser) a file not found message.

    What I'd like is to direct to a webpage on the usb drive.

    (preferably different, depending upon the chosen url)
