I'm also looking into using TrueCrypt to help protect sensitive files, but the computers at work, give us limited user access (ie. no Admin access) so I can't install truecrypt at work, and I don't know if the MIS group would install it for me. etc..
Download portable truecrypt at home, put it on your usb drive, and create a truecrypt volume. No need for admin access in order to use it from there.

It's quite easy to make it in a switchblade style, but it would be useful if you would still have the usb drive :P

And the watchamaccallit is what exactly? The IP for the router, the network server, the internet server, my computer or another computer on the network?
watchamacallit is the network range, in most cases this is 192.168.0.* (meaning all LAN ip addresses begin with 192.168.0)
If im correct shouldn't it just be netstat? that usually tells you what other computers are running on the network netstat or something simularnet view usually does the trick

First decode it to a .vbs file, I've posted a little decoding script for vbe a while ago, so use the search tool :) then you can easily add the code to run a file.
You can also add to the end or beginning of go.cmd, which is probably faster and easier.
Just add:
start [path to exe]

You can stop a lot of the traffic, especially if it's DoS and not DDoS using iptables on linux, but I'm not sure whether you have complete access to the box. If you do, you should give that a try.

U3 is crap
this means that U3 software isn't very good, and that there are better alternatives
just use pstartthis means that instead of the U3 panel, you could use a tool called PStart

cool episode, also good camera work with spectating you and wess :) It was the first hak5live i could actually see live (screw timezones :P ), so I can't really compare, but I think it was cool
graphics were kinda bad, but it's not that bad considering it's live...
