kinda stupid question but i really dont get putty, can someone help me setting it up, or link me to a guide? im trying to install in on my computer now, so i can access it from my school computer. but well.. i really dont know what to do

thanks for replies so far, appriciated :) so visual basic is the easyest, but then it may be harder to learn an more advanced language. hmm maybe i should go for C++ then, since i want to learn more then just one. maybe something like perl after i know another first

hey im pretty new around that part of computers but would really wanna learn to use it. just to make helpfull small applications to make everything simpler. So my question really is, what language is "easy" to learn to make small apps? maybe something with alot of guides etc and if you got any tips on where to get guides, sites? shops? and so on that would be really helpfull, and appriciated to.

yea i have, they said it wasnt needed. but i guess its because of extensions or so.

okey here's the deal. at school we have some "great" laptops with everything blocked. cant even install anything. is it possible to use remote access from my school computer to my home computer. without installing anything on the school laptop? i have an ipod i use as an hdd that i can use. but cant really install anything on it. like anything i can use to connect and use my home computer from the school computer/my ipod. so that i can run any program i want and access what web site i want. cant even use firefox at the school computer =/ if i explain something bad or forgot something, please lett me know. any suggestions and/or comments are welcome
