Well seems like you guys are right, thanks. :) Heh my Crt aint That old :P just had it for like 3 years now, just havent gotten around to buying a new one yet, kinda. But then again everything else have been upgraded on this computer, so maybe its time for that to. We will see, maybe ill get myself a new one :)

Hey guys. The last few days my monitor have been turning like from wthite to yellow form time to time. is it my monitor or something thats about to die? Edit: what i meen to say is, where i know it should be white and usually is, suddenly turns yellow for a few sec, then back to white. But i guess you guys understod that.

Thanks for the tips, i should have mentioned that i can use Gimp and Photoshop. Im not like a pro or something, but im far from beginner at it.

thanks alot, seems like a very good start for me :) As for using finished templates and such, it kinda ruins the point for me, then someone else is doing all the work while i just type the stuff on the site. Not creating it. Better to keep trying to you get it to work :)

Yea yea i know, its a stupid question. But when you are in the blind, sometimes you need a little dirrections. Well so here we go, i wanna create a web site. Not really about anything special since i have no goal about this to meet. The simple reason i want to do this is because i want to know if i can do it. Make a good website, that people like and enjoy, and will be somewhat usefull to people. So simple said, because i want to know if i can. So well, since i really aint experienced, any suggestions and so on will guaranteed help me. The only experience i really have is pages like myspace etc, and simple school projects. Nothing really big if you know what i meen. I want to use open source apps, because i really think it have more to offer. And ofcource the obvious part of beeing free. The only thing i wanna pay for is the domain. So well, could anyone tell me, or come with any good things i should use. and i meen for anything. As you see, im kinda new on this, just know a little about alot. But im a quick learner, and dont mind reading a few books or so to get it to work. And yes, ofcource i am googling for information, but experience with something tells more then the page you get it from.

ill test ram when i get it Again in 30 min. Well the Hdd works fine and everything, the install is working while its working. I would try using linux for a few days if it was mine, but well, she have no clue about linux, even ubuntu would be way to complicated for her. hey eveyone, well i kinda have a little problem, and well i think you guys are most likely to know what might fix it. so here we go. A few days ago my cousins computer crashes, and it reboots itself everytime in the bootscreen. If i start it in safemode or normal, or last known working config. The same thing happends, just restarts in the bootscreen. I have tried formating it 4 times now, and well the same thing happends after a few hours, when she turn it off, it comes to the bootscreen and restarts. Last time i couldnt even install win xp witch is what she uses, because the win install stopped when looking for old win install at start of installation. So i had to install linux first when windows. I have tried to run live Cd's and it works like a charm, so the computer is working. Last time it crashes i saw it, when she turned off the computer the win installs got installed, and then a bluescreen come up, she pressed a key, and it was of. Then when she turned it on this morning, It was messed up again. Since i didnt have a computer back in the bluescreen days i am not sure about if it was it. But well it seems very like bluescreen. Anyone got any suggestions or so? I could just install windows again and again, but its kinda hopeless. Thanks

Thanks alot guys, appriciated :) Hmm seems like i should learn myself a little more then the just absolute basics. Atleast since usefull this i want keep comming more and more. and googling around for everything opensource is kinda well time consuming, when i could use the time to actually write it myself.

Hey guys and girls. Ehmm well im just wondering if there is possible/any easy way to make a batch file to change my wallpaper. or would i need to actually learn a computer language. As you probally understand by now, i dont really know mutch about that. i want to make a file that i just press to change wallpapers, the walls i will put in a folder like C:Wallpapers Or should i just use something like the wallpaper changer in an app a day (maybe some of you have tried it, i think an app a day was on the show a while back) As usuall, any help/suggestions etc is appriciated :)

2-2,5 hours of battery time Really dont know why they would provide Media Center Edition with it, they dont say anything about something it could really be used for. My guess is they just throw in some fancy words to attract people who don't know mutch about computers to but them for the advertisements they see, without really cheking into it. Though when i read the small text i noticed it says that, you get a free uppgrade to vista with media center, not with xp, only thing you have to pay for is the shipping. witch is 150Nok, so umm like 23USD. So that could be the reason why its delivered with it.
