I couldn't get Hacksaw or VNC to work and i did the password changes and everything but dont know whats the problem

what do i need and ehere can i dowload a program to connect to a VNC server and to connect and how to use it

Well my problem is that i downloaded Hacksaw from wiki ok. . . fine but i Un rar and open folder and doo not show (Yes i have enabled show hidden files and folders but nothing and system folders also) any files, i check and yes there are 13 files in the folder but doo not display what can i do? plz help
