  1. How about Command & Conquer is not a bad game after all.

Call of Duty 4 and Half Life 2 are really good games, i recommend them.

  2. \\Ophcrack// is best when it come to cracking OS passwords ,really recommend you to use it.It is fast and reliable .

Is there a way to increase the rainbow table size, so the chances of cracking the password can be more successful?

  3. Hi Guys,

I am just trying to download, a copy of Rivet Architectural Software for a friend of mine. The software itself is very expense and my friend does not want to fork for it. So he turned for my help.

I have tried using numerous 2P2 software to download it for him.

Emule's network seems to be very slow, so it has taken me a whole month to download the program and it's still downloading.

Limewire is pretty fast but I could not find the software after several searches.

I have tried a number of others like Shareaza and BitTorrent but no luck in find the software.

I was wondering if you people, know a place where I can download it for free.

    Thank you in advance.

  4. The easy way to archive a large amount of data to be delivered it by writing the data to a DVD, placing the DVD in an envelope with the intended destination clearly written on the front along with a first class stamp then placing it in a letter box. If you use multiple DVD's by comparison you have a faster connection than the fastest internet connections, of course the latency is a bit high. Still, <number of DVDs> * 4GB/2 or 3 days isn't bad in terms of actual band width.

In all seriousness, if you need to transfer a very large amount of information posting it to the data centre on DVDs isn't a half bad plan. Of course encrypt the contents, and probably want to use a tracked delivery encase it does go missing, that way you can at least say to any one who tries to sue you "We did every thing we could, we encrypted it and used a traceable delivery method".

If there is so much data it's impractical even for DVDs, a 120GB portable hard disk is practically nothing from $10000 lol.

I am not building it for malicious purposes, but just for personal use only. And in addition the faster upload connection speed, is not for transferring larger amounts of data, but to use it for general purposes.

The server will be used mainly for hosting VMs, data storage and as well as cracking passwords.

  5. personally i just find airodump-ng much easier to use.

Yes that is true, but airodump-ng does not give u the ability to search for non broadcasting wireless. As opposed to Kismet.

If you do war-driving frequently you will find kismet very useful.

  6. Yes, then that is set by your hardware and ISP limitations. Chances are, you will never meet your hardwares limits though unless you are using a 10Mbit nic card.

The reason I asked, is because I am planning in building a $10.000 VPS. And as result, I am looking for faster upload connection speeds.

  7. Don't purchase something when there are tools out there to do this for free. If you wanted to reset a password to an account to logon, use something like UBCD4WIN, which has tools for resetting (local) NT Passwords and they work every time I have used them, unlike Konboot. You could also boot any live linux cd and access whatever you want, defeating a need for a windows password, or you can do the utilman rename and use the cmd.exe in its place so when booting, you hit the shortcut key "windows+u" and it launches your CMD window. You then tpe explorer.exe and it bypasses the windows logon giving you a normal windows shell.

All bets are off if you have physical access to a machine. Short of full drive encryption there isnt much you can do to save your machine from being accessed.

You are absolutely right, and I know for a fact that there are tools out there for recovering windows password for free. But at the time when I needed a tool for recovering my administrator's account password, the windows installation CD served me well.

But I do appreciate your comment as well.

    Thank you.

  8. That's what I've been looking for. Thanks for posting that up.

  9. ya it just updated last night and i reinstalled the drivers for shits and giggles

Try rolling back the drivers, just to see if they are not causing any compatibility issues.

  10. ya it just updated last night and i reinstalled the drivers for shits and giggles

And no, I deleted macafee and it still didnt work before or after

No programs that i have would mess it up, I have dyndns and filezilla

I'll keep you posted, if I come up with anything.

  11. Thank you very much for the information, I don't think my exchange would have SDSL installed at their end either, even if they had I would have to pay a little bit more compared to what I am pay at the moment. But budge is not an issue for me.

    Thanks anyway, I really appreciate.

  12. Hi Guys,

Just out of curiosity, is it possible to increase the upload speeds on a regular broadband internet connection. The plan that I am currently on, only gives me 1mgbits. I have spoken to my ISP, who advised me it may not be possible due to the current exchange configuration.

Say even if it was possible, what sort of hardware or configuration I would need to have in order to increase the upload speed.

Your comments will be much appreciated.

    Thank you.

  13. You should turn off file sharing in Windows 7.

    Windows 7

Follow these steps to disable File Sharing on Windows 7:

    Click the Windows Logo button.

Type file sharing in the search results window, and then touch Enter.

Under "File and Printer Sharing", check to be sure that Turn off file and printer sharing is selected.

Under "Public Folder Sharing", check to be sure that Turn off public folder sharing is selected.

    Click Save Changes.

Or perhaps use a firewall, so that way no one can see or access anything from your computer.

  14. Im trying to remotely execute a .exe over my windows 2003 network. Basically i just need to know what tool i should be using for this. I was trying to use pstools but i dont think i have the syntax correct. this is what im typing...

    psexec \\examplepc -c c:\examplefile.exe

My understanding of the command tells me that this should run a file located on my machine on a remote machine.

i keep getting error code 0 or error code 1

Does anyone know what the heck im doing wrong lol... or if there is a simpler way to perform this task?

The command syntax is as follows:

psexec.exe \\computer name or ip address -u administrator username for the remote machine -p administrator password for the remote machine -c "remote file path to execute"

I've tried that on my VMs and that worked fine.

  15. A while back I started using the Social Engineering Toolkit and thought it was a great concept, But now I see that it may just be more than a good tool. Check this out: 57% of adults open and respond to spam mail.

    Source: http://www.h-online.com/security/news/item...ell-963843.html

I wouldn't be surprised at all. As a matter of fact, where I work I've heard cases of people opening attachments that came through spam emails, claiming it would make their computers run faster. But in fact turned their computers into some sort of spam bot making machine.

I am very cautious when it comes to this sort of issues.
