Hi Guys Can anyone advise me, if what im going to do is possible ? simulating what darren did in episode 412 Step 1 I get myself a wireless router and i turn off the dhcp while ssid still being broadcast Step 2 from the router i plug a ethernet cable to my pc and make sure pc my is dhcp server (tftp32) Step 3 Once i have nmap and i ICS my Mobile brodband with lan interface all the clients packet can go through me and to the internet while i sit in the middle fired up netwitness or wireshark sniffing all the traffic Lastly Can i do MITM attack based on this solution . My question here will router know how to route all the packets to me or am i missing an important step ? Advise needed !! thanks

@Digi Which means if i were to use same method what darren did in episode 412, Im able to use sslstrip , because in that way i will be sniffing on the ethernet . Where all my victims packets will be reaching my laptop . Now i have to figure out how to use sslstrip ? because when i ran sslstrip with windows it says "import error : No module named twisted.web" i know im doing something wrong ? anyone care to advise

Hi Everyone If i were to use Pineapple in conjunction with SSLtrip in a windows enviroment . Do i need to reroute or ARP the victims oops i meant my other testing laptop . Just wanted to simulate what Darren did in a windows enviroment B)

Hi Guys I plan to get a new antenna for my pineapple , But im not sure what kind of connector or what is the best 10 dBi omni-directional Wi-Fi flexible antenna that will fit my pineapple Sure need some advise ?

Finally i solved it the problem was i set Connection type to DHCP and Type to bridge . Therefor that is why all the problem caused so what i did was i fire up tftp32 . I made my win xp machine as a dhcp server and voila! Im able access the config page and revert back changes . Pheww So digi can you kindly advise anything else i need to revert ? Thanks for the help man

Hi digi I vaguely remember setting my ip to 192.168.1.1 for the router . So i have assingned my pc to 192.168.1.2 and subnet to 255.255.255.0 I tried nmap with following command nmap retruned saying 192.168.1.2 is alive Am i doing something wrong ? Please higlight to me thanks

Hi guys I was poking around my pineapple AGAIN. I remember assigning a static for my Pineapple, now after a reboot i cant access karma and jassanger Config pages. It gives me 169 ip. which is APIPA i presume . Please can anyone help me to rectify this . ;)

Hi Guys , finally Ive got some time to test out my Pineapple but im having some problems when i wanted simulate what darren did on episode-412 http://www.hak5.org/episodes/episode-412 Dont quote me just a Noob learning My so called "Hacking Enviroment " consists of 2 laptop running windows xp , wifi Pineapple , an ICS’d HSPDA connection My question here is how to configure the wifi pineapple aka fon so when a client connect to the fon it will direct them to my ICS’d HSPDA connection.

Thanks a lot Digi, Just to clarify If a Victim aka my laptop have previously accessed a lot of "free wifi hotspots" by right if Karma is turned on i should be seeing all thoose wifi hotspots(startbucks) showing up in Windows Wireless Manager . this does not apply for those wifi hotspots that i have connected previously with a WEP / WPA Key. Am i confusing you ? once again thanks man :D

By the way Digininja thanks a lot but i have a few question that i may seek you/anyone's kind advise 1#Im using this mobile broadband thingy to access internet http://spedr.com/4zwis so my question here is can i "call the herd" via my wifi card and use ICS on my Mobile broadband to let everyone the surf the net while im sitting in middle capturing all the packets . If that is possible can you guide what are option in Jasager i need to configure etc IP... 2# In the webinf option there is a option for connection and followed by "type" . Just got it a few hours ago and being curious i went to 192.168.1.1 (webif) and navigated to Network and changed it from Static IP to dhcp (not sure what was the option) after that i can access karma or openwrt page . Despite the fact the pineapple give me an ip Please help :( Did i borke my new wifi pineapple ;) Help needed ? for noob
