  1. I love Doctor Who, which first season did you watch, the one with chistopher ellecston (sp) or the original one (B&W)?

My favorite Doctor so far is David Tenant.

I noticed that about the X-Files, where they only made progress like twice a season, slightly annoying, but I didn't watch enough for it to make a real difference.

  2. Unless you are friends with the celebrity, I don't see why anyone would care if their marriage was in trouble, or if they were cheating on their partner. But this is just my view, an extreme state of apathy for rich peoples personal lives.

  3. I was thinking about watching lost, while it was on there were a lot of people saying how good it was, now I only hear how many loose ends they left and that the finale left something to be desired.

I just finished Battlestar Galactica, the new one, it was pretty good.

Watched Dexter, excited for the new season this month.

Watched Star Trek Voyager / DS9 while they were on air, and occasionally will jump back in with them.

Love the Big Bang Theory, sadly, I've seen all the episodes about 5-15 times...don't ask...

Also watch NCIS, it's always sunny in Philadelphia, scrubs(old ones), modern family,

Me and my wife watch Lie to Me, White Collar, Leverage, Pysch, House, Bones , Doctor Who on our DVR when we have time.

Wife watches Weeds, I don't care for it but she enjoys it.

Occasionally watch some anime when the mood strikes me.

  4. Neat Domain.com bit with Evil Server :)

lol, I liked that too...but the only thing I could think of is "I hope the fire doesn't short anything, since the computer was plugged in while it was on fire."

I wish the Boxee segment was longer though =P been using it for a few months now, and hope to make good apps for it, and find out more about the ins and outs to make things smoother and better.

  5. That gov site seems interesting... I was poking around on it, they are selling 3 96 processor computers in one auction for 50$ atm. Says it cost them 250,000 each, so that's 750,000 for 50$. But those 96 processors...400 MHz =P

I was talking to my friend about auction sites, and he gave me a list.

I haven't tried any of those but he says they are good.

  6. I would guess each security personnel that's watching the monitors has 12-ish tables their watching, since I don't think they are looking for the actual act of cheating, just signs of it on the players. I would also venture that they trust the dealers, otherwise they won't hire them, but if something doesn't add up, like one dealer is loosing too often, or some other fishy situation, they would pull up the video of that dealer of look into it deeper. They also have a few guys patrolling around the tables, mostly just to make sure they are seen, since people are much less likely to cheat if they think they are being watched.

These are just my guesses, and could be completely wrong, but it seems very unfeasible for them to have 1 guard per camera.

  7. HEX:

    5

    :65:72:20:69:73:6e:74:20:73:6b:75:6e:6b:79

    ASCII:

Actually Shannon recorded 801 and 802 on the so the beer isnt skunky

I think you missed a line of the hex, it says "Actually Shannon recorded 801 and 802 on the same day so the beer isnt skunky"

  8. Has anyone created some Boxee apps on linux? I followed Jason's instructions (tried to, there was no apps folder under userdata, and I later found out that userdata had a logical link to UserData, so when I created it, it was there in both folders). I downloaded and copied the Hak5 folder that he used into the newly formed apps folder, restarted boxee, and it wasn't there. I also noticed there is a 720p folder, if I'm running 1080p, should I change the name of this, or is this not related to the screen.

    Thanks

  9. It's for their website only; they built it as part of the flash client, there's nothing in the API about limits like that. My client just doesn't bother to care about them.

I was thinking that, since the desktop gadget for pandora seemed to not have a limit, but I wasn't sure.

    Thanks

  10. Sounds eerily like a ZOMG I N33D tO HaX0r my Ex-Gf's mySPaCE.

But I lost faith in people a long time ago.

If's it just to access facebook, why not just use a virtual machine on a thumb drive, unless they have a key logger on the machine, or looking at your desktop, they shouldn't be able to know what your doing. If your really paranoid, you could use TOR.

  11. I was just wondering 2 things, first off, how to get by Pandora's 10 song skip limit per hour, or is that for their web site only? Second, is this open source? I'd love to see the code to see how it works.

Thanks for making/updating it btw =P

  12. Depends on how you want to set it up, the VM only network I set up is win xp and backtrack 4 VMs on their own network, then i networked some vms from some other computers onto that, for good measure. I believe virtualbox has an option to use an internal network for all the VMs your running.

You could use your host to pentest the VM if you want though, if you set up the network card for it, I think you'd just have to set it up as a bridged adapter, and make sure the IP's are right. The best option is whatever you like the best, my best option is 2 virtual machines, since i don't have to VNC in to change things on other computers, and i only have to use my main keyboard. It's nice to try and keep my desk from having mountains of keyboards and shit on it.

  13. Thanks, I'm trying that out now, but there seems to be a few more bugs with it, like certain windows just show up on all the desktops. Also the last update to it was in 2004, so the issues probably have something to do with using win7 I would guess.
