Works for me. I have a 56 Samsung DLP and the HD of the Xbox360 is killer. The DLP uses a mirror to reflect the light on to the screen, not sure if there is any "burn in" on it

Started with the German CCC (Chaos Computer Club) and there project Blinkenlights http://www.blinkenlights.de/ then the Technology House at Brown University guys did Tetris (with "The Woz") http://bastilleweb.techhouse.org/ there have many more, laser tagging seams to be the rage.
