    To be honest I don't see a problem with the guy's an gals of Hak5 making a buck or two from the show they spend there time educating an informing us and they hake kept the show funny and on track. Some of the shows out there or live casts are either boring after a while OR just plain stupid.

    The Hak5 old timers might not like the new style but I see most of the orginal shows reflected in the new ones just better done, personally the outdoors segments in the original show seemed a little unplanned compared to Darrens weird WiFi pineapple segment. And Moobix recovered a newer version of Maltego to that was just as good if not better than the original.

    Snubs has only done the live show before now an even then she wasn't the main focus of the show so she didn't get much time in front of the camera, it must be a nervous the first time for her in front of the crowd of such a popular IPTV show as Hak5 and she did prity damn well and I am sure we will grow to have the same level of respect / admiration we did for alli.

    Matt has come from being a sponsor of the show to being a co host an I think he is doing a good job he seems relaxed an likes a joke, I can honestly say the show seems better for having him on it.

    So in my opinion the new season of Hak5 seems to have improved on a already solid foundation and Rev3 will help them reach a larger audience than they have previously been able to reach an more power to them for being successful enough to have offers made to them.

    I will keep watching hak5 because it entertains me, I have watched all the episodes I can an all of them have been enjoyable far better than most of the other shows out there. I can prity much say unless the show got dumbed down or makes a turn into a script kiddy fest.

    For the most part I am not bothered about who hosts the show as long as they know the subject there talking about, try to bring in new ideas, get rid of a idea that dosent work, an keeps the show fresh. There is nothing worse than becoming a fan in the early days an the show not evolving, admittedly I am newish to hak5 but I can see at every turn they have tried an that is a big Plus mark in my book.

    I Personally think google is going too far. I never thought i'd say this, but im beginning to hate Google.

    Yea I know what you mean, Google is a great search tool an a good webmail provider but I dont like the way they seem to be trying to take over your computer more an more. Kinda reminds me of real a few years back it tried to take over your computer update by update.

    You can't compare Tom to Steve Wozniak. Steve Wozniak created something of worth, something new and is incredible intelligent and a nice bloke. Hell he's one of the few people I respect and look up too. Tom help create something that at best wastes time and helps a relatively small group of people keep in contact on some lever, but realistically myspace is a cancer on the internet that needs to be wiped out.

    Quoted for truth, myspaz is a place for drama whores an idiots it's 4chans social group. I was siting in a pub in london recently an there was a group of people who where obviously meeting for the first time in a few years an sitting there minding my own business i hear the line "Wait are we friends on my space yet" I nearly spat my over priced fosters across the bar dismayed that here is two people who are friends wondering if there friends on my space. WHAT IS WORNG WITH THE PHONE YOU DAFT BINT.

    That could be a problem if he dose not own the land, I know there is a book out there called wireless hacks an they demonstrated a fairly reliable signal over a 1 - 3 mile distance using some very cool antennas but as far as i know they tested it in the height of summer under "ideal" conditions, so when the weather turns for the worst your signal will most likely go from usable to unusable.

    Darren although I am new here I have a fair bit of mod experience if you need help taming the wiki I am more than glad to help after all you guys inform an entertain me I should be able to do something back for you guys an the community at large.

    Also I know this might not seem the best idea in the world what about a public or semi public FTP server, users can use if to swap new code an freeware tools around the place an also allow for some great home brew apps an such get a little notice, It will need moderation to stop people from uploading junk or copywrited material but it might be worth looking into.

    I don't know I would like to see this question be asked half way through an at the end of the coming series. If hak5 changed for the worse people will vote with there browsers an not view it I only found hak5 a few months back but it has proven one of the best shows (if not the best) of it's type on the internet.

    there is a bunch of guys I happen to know who would be very intrested in attending this event its called geekup its mostly a bunch of coders / web designers an there is a closely tied llug its north west central at the moment but there is people who are group members who are nation wide.
