  1. Hi all, I am creating some shell scripts that occasionally need to use an external Alfa WiFi card, but not all of the time. Rather than leaving the Alfa card enabled constantly, I would like the script to bring the card online when it is required, and switch it back off when it is not. I have read various methods to do this online, but none seem definitive, so I would like to ask which method I should use. So far, I have seen suggestions of; Using WLAN# up and WLAN# down Disabling USB ports using Hub-CTRL Using hardware add-ons This or this (unknown what is being done here) Even people saying it's not possible. What would you suggest? Has anyone else had any luck with switching off and back on an Alfa Wifi Card from a Linux command line/script? I haven't yet played around, as I'm not at home, but I don't want to waste my time trying a method that won't work as well as something else. Thank you.
  2. How do I disable autoplay when I insert my Rubber Ducky into the computer cause everytime I plug it in my Drive shows up in all of the windows. Like this picture.
  3. hello Hak5 forums users, I'm currently using dual TP-link USB wireless cards for airbase-ng rouge karma AP / airodump-ng / MDK3 with BRCTL and dhclient to enable internet access for network auditing. I've been looking into a wifi pineapple as an upgrade to this eclectic setup. As I understand from defcon talks / wiki, the Nano enables an access point after setup for administration over wifi. If I am exclusively using the Nano using the USB ethernet connection to my laptop, can the administration AP be disabled? What interface of the two onboard radios does that AP run on? Does the Nano feature / offer USB 3.0 for operation? Thanks , dr_deconstruct
  4. Hi I'm new and just got my Rubber Ducky. Why can't I bypass UAC? Am I doing something wrong? It pops up with the UAC password prompt screen. "Do you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer?" and then it asks for the password. Here's the code I'm using. GUI r DELAY 500 STRING powershell Start-Process cmd -Verb runAs ENTER DELAY 3000 ALT y DELAY 500 STRING echo Admin Prompt in 5 seconds This doesn't work either DELAY 200 STRING cmd DELAY 200 MENU DELAY 100 STRING a ENTER DELAY 200 LEFT ENTER I'm running Windows 7 SP1
  5. Hello all, I've put together a simple script that attempts to disable Windows Defender on Windows 8.1 (will update to 7 later). My only problem is that I have an issue where there is a check box titled "turn on this app" and when I tab over to it, there is no way for me to uncheck that selection. I hope that someone might either find a work around to my method or find a way to make it work. 6. Hello everyone. I'm currently having trouble with client mode on the wi-Fi pineapple. My problem is that when I try to enable wlan0 on the network tile it doesn't allow me to. I can see in the URL bar that it tries to do this but instead of initializing/ enabling wlan0 it just refreshes the bar. I will attach a link to an image of this below. I hope that someone here can help me with the problem and thank you for any help you might be able to give. Thanks, Tekk3y.
