  1. Hello, I have a question regarding mounting the SD on the Nano. I don't see an fstab file on the Nano and where is the "Save Fstab" file in the web interface saving the fstab file? Here is what I've done. Nano is powered off, I put in an SD card into the Nano and powered up the Nano. SSH as root into the Nano after power up complete. Run df command, the SD card is not mounted. Issuing mount -a does not mount it. I cd to /etc/ to find the fstab file is a link to /tmp/fstab. The /tmp/fstab file does not exist. I then decided to power up the Nano first and then plug in the SD card. After Nano powers up, I plug in the SD card, run df command, the SD card is mounted. Seems it mounts automatically only after inserting card into running Nano., I have used the web interface and clicked the "Save Fstab" option with the SD card mounted, but I do not see a /etc/fstab file being saved. Do I simply create an /etc/fstab file so Nano mounts it at power up?
  2. Hi everyone, just started out with my pineapple so bare with me. I have set my pineapple up on my laptop previous to this post and was working fine. But now i wanted to set it up on my Galaxy s8 and when i power on the pineapple and connect my phone, it gets stuck on "Waiting for connection". I have enabled tethering and yes my carrier supports tethering. Not really sure what my next move is.
  3. I recently updated to the 2.2.0 update. Everything is working as expected using Firefox on my laptop, but I am having a lot of problems using the web API on my cell. Its an old cell, using Android 5.0.1. I can not open the PineAP module's page, and on the Recon module's page, when I pause or stop the scan, there are no drop down ( carets? ) next to the MACs. I haven't seen any other reports about this, is there anything else needed to help resolve this?
  4. I Read The Instructions for How to do this on the WifiPineapple Website, But I don't Understand the Step Where Your Supposed To Power On The Device But Not Connect it to your pc... Any Help?
  5. Hello Hak5 Forum, my name is MrR0b0t with 0 ;). I use a Mac. I had to reset my BashBunny. Since then my BashBunny ignores the language entry in the config file. It will always be US keyboard. Even if I change the us.json file, this change is not noticeable. Request for help! P.S Q SET_LANGUAGE .. does not execute the payload
  6. Hi there! A couple of weeks ago i bought a Wifi Pineapple Nano. I did not really have time to play around with it when i recieved it. Becouse of school.. :( Now it's time for me to use my Pineapple to do some great hacking! But when i wanted to test out if the Open AP what working. It was doing wierd stuff. I tried to connect to the AP from my phone (Samsung Galxy S6) And it did not connect to the AP (I thought my phone had blocked it for some reason) I thought that was weird so i tried to connect to the AP from my Chromebook And that did not work either. So i thought that the problem was with Google and or Android. So i tried it on my Windows Desktop (with wifi adapter) and that did not work either... So i tried loading a VM running kali to see if it whould work on kali. on kali it did work but after a second it whould just disconnect. i tried to reset the device 2x and that did not solve anything. Does anyone have suggestions on why this problem keeps happening.
  7. Hello. I just got mine Tetra but it's not working. The yellow led is on all the time. I can not contact it through LAN, USB, WAN, ETH, SSH..... When I trying to reset it, the yellow light is on all the time, it does not even flash. When I unplug the power, the yellow light goes out Anyone have an idea?
  8. I've been trying all day to fix my bash bunny, but nothing seems to work. I've been trying all kinds of payloads on the GitHub repo and even making one my self. The issue I'm having is that the bash bunny won't do anything when I plug it in, but it's still recognized though. Keep in mind that I got my bash bunny yesterday so I'm not good at managing it. So if you think I'm making a beginner mistake Just go ahead and tell me. Hope you can help me, thanks!
  9. Hey, I'm having a problem with the BB and just want to know if I'm the problem or if there are more people with the same issue. I got the BB a few days ago, and I'm trying to use the PasswordGraber. I managed to get it working, but everytime I reboot in Arming Mode (or disconnect and re-connet) , the "tools" folder gets empty, and with that, I`m losing the lazaGne.exe, so everytime I want it to work I need to copy the .exe back to the "tools" folder. Thanks, and hope I can find some help.
  10. Hi, I got Tetra about 8 months ago and only had time to play with it in December. I upgraded to 2.02 the latest firmware. Everything is seems to be ok, but I'm not sure exactly why the Recon is coming to 100% of scan time and never display anything. As it seems the radio module is completely dead. Red LED is never on, except a little bit during booting time. I wrote my request in the bug section but never got any attention. Could anyone help me to troubleshoot? It might have happened because of RF extra hack, available in the download modules section. But I'm not 100% sure what happened. Thanks
  11. I have been troubleshooting issues with the bashbunny for as long as it has been available. I got mine as soon as it was released; and it has been nothing but problematic from day one; which is a shame. The device, in theory, is probably the best thing Hak5 has ever come out with; but it practice, it has been the least usable in my experience. Many payloads will not run consistently; if they run properly at all. Every payload that makes use of the USB partition (the one thing that should really allow us to accomplish truly amazing feats) is problematic for many of its customers. The bashbunny forum is littered with threads full of people who cannot get any credential payloads to work because USB writing fails; among other problems. Simple ducky payloads that execute fine on the ducky or on nethunter's duckhunter will not inject properly a fair percentage of the time on the bashbunny. I see mixed character case issues where they shouldn't be and other anomalies. I am really hoping the USB corruption issues and the bizarre injection problems I am having is due solely to the fact that I adopted so early and the rest of the devices are not plagued with these issues; as they make the device unusable. I am pleading with Hak5 support here to please provide me with a replacement. I and my friends have poured countless hours of time and ulcers into trying to get this device to work; with, very little and, no lasting success. Anything we get to to work once or twice is quickly broken by yet another USB corruption issue or other strange injection anomaly. Please help me. I have gone through every unbricking, reflashing, updating, and udisk reformatting operation that support has given and have tried every firmware available. Nothing seems to be able to salvage this bunny. Help me technolust-ken-obee. You're my only hope...
  12. So I received my Wifi Pineapple NANO a few days ago and it worked fine on first try, I got on to the web interface and reached the point of updating the firmware and I think I may have messed up. Now whenever I plug the nano in, the light flashes twice holds for about 5 seconds then turns off, I can't ssh to it, I can't get the web interface and I can't see it as a wifi network. Any advice?
  13. I am trying to setup wifi pineapple nano but when I get to the part with load bulletin it crashes my PC and gives me the error in this picture. Also when I try to do "firmware upgrade" to also check if it's working I get this error: "Error connecting to WiFiPineapple.com. Please check your connection." Any Help?
  14. Hello everyone! I was having some trouble running the QuickCreds payload with my Bash Bunny. I have tested other payloads that work (such as the nmapper and a basic ducky hello world that I wrote). I have installed the tools into the /pentest folder properly. It seems to get stuck in an infinite loop where it's blinking amber (I believe). When I unplug it, switch to arming mode, and open up the files I see a loot folder that wasn't there before. It then goes to quickcreds --> name_of_computer but there's nothing inside that folder. I've let it go for as high as about thirty minutes before giving up on it. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I've tested it on a MacBook Pro, a linux laptop, and a Windows 7 64 bit Virtual Machine, all with the same problem. I saw other people post about it with the same issue as me but I didn't see a response that worked. Thanks in advance for your help!
  15. So i flashed the latest bunny firmware and now when i try to copy responder to the tools folder it disappears once i plug it out and back in... is there a specific way to do it or does my bunny have a problem? P.S. This is my first Hak5 product i love all the tools including this one. Thanks!
  16. Apparently I've tried to update to 1.1 incorrectly. It has a solid green on startup then it turns blank. After three times it goes into recovery mode I am assuming. Then once there it blinks red for a while. Then it turns blank again. I've waited ten minutes tried to replug it in assuming something went wrong it it was done. But it never blinks or goes solid green or blue after the red blinking. But just now It was blinking red then started to alternate red to blue. Now it's blank again, I will wait another fifteen minutes before I try anything else. What exactly is going on? I am assuming it's either trying to recover then flash. I moved the upgrade contents to the root file system. I don't know exactly what went wrong. Easier way to understand the problem: Plug In > Solid Green > Blank LED ........ Ten minutes has passed.... Replug In > Solid Green > Blank LED ....... Ten minutes has passed.... Replug In > Solid Green Blank LED ...... Ten minutes has passed.... Replug In > Blinking Red > Couple of Minutes Passed > Blinking Red . Blinking Blue . Blinking Red > Couple of Minutes Passed > Blinking Red > Couple of Minutes Passed > BLANK LED!!!! Ten minutes has passed... Replug In > Solid Green > Blank LED Every time it tries to recover then it will try to boot three times and try to recover again. It will never fully boot up nor will Kali recognize the file system or that it's plugged in.

  18. I have followed the wiki steps for factory resetting the Lan Turtle ( https://lanturtle.com/wiki/#!index.md ) In addition to this, I have followed this fellow who seems to have had the same problem. (And fixed it) However, I am having absolutely no luck reaching the internal webserver of the lan turtle. Once I type in 192.168.1.1 into my web browser, it hangs for approximately 2 seconds, and states that there is no internet. If someone could help me asap, it would be greatly appreciated, as I need it for a demonstration this week. Thank you for your time. PS. If it helps, I am on the Parrot operating system, although I do have both windows and default debian installed as well. (I've tried all 3 OSs, and still no luck.)
  19. Hello, I recently received my Lanturtle, I set up autossh following Darren's video... When my lanturtle is connected to my computer I manage to ssh as root into localhost (ssh root@localhost -p 2222), however when I plug my lanturtle into a USB power source and connect it to my lan I cannot seem to ssh into it using the same technique. (ssh root@localhost -p 2222) Instead I get the error: ssh_exchange_identification: read: Connection reset by peer. Please Help! Thank you
