Hi Is it possible to install Kali Linux on ASUS ZenBook 3 UX390UA? I would like to buy this notebook and then install Kali Linux ... is that possible? thank you very much for the answer

What's up guys? Apparently I didn't think this completely through: I have Ubuntu installed on a 32GB SDHC card that I have installed on my Asus G75VW (currently rocking 8.1) and my idea was to use the SD card as the *third HDD on the system (I have both HDD bays used for Win 8.1..probably a mistake but I'll deal with that after the fact..working to SSD) SO when I go to hit ESC to try and boot to the SD card, I can only select between Windows, DVD drive, or only USB (when one is present). When I went to install Ubuntu on the card , I swore I installed GRUB, but it's not even recognizing the drive as a whole. Am I missing something, or does my logic here not work?

ok, I'm venturing into a realm I'm a 100% no0b at: Water Cooling for PCs. I'm wanting to build a rig that will live in the family room (the main tv, a 40" , will be the main monitor, and have the ability for satelite monitors if applicable). What I'm going for: An Asus Maximus V Extreme I have two x 2GB DDR3 sticks of RAM for it I have a Cooler Master 460w PSU (should be enough for basic operation? mobo has HDMI, planning that to go to my monitor) Cooler Master case (current model is unknown, photo upon request) I'm wanting to get an Intel 1155 i5 or i7 chip. I'm looking at the Koolance CPU-380i Water Block ( http://koolance.com/cpu-380i-processor-water-block ) and I'm also eyeballing the Koolance 2x12 Radiator ( http://koolance.com/radiator-2-fan-120mm-30-fpi-copper ) my questions are: - What size tubing will I need for that? I think 3/8in - fixtures?? There is a lot more than I thought , deer in the headlights - anyone recommend a good pump & resovior? - What about the coolant liquid: is there a specific type I need? wanting to do like an alien/blood/deep red for show (gotta show it off to house guests B) ) lastly: any advice? again total deer in the headlights but I want to learn. Any AMD processor users out there? I've never had an AMD on any of my rigs, but I was looking at the MOBO Snubs used on her home PC build this week, and it would be a perfect fit for my rig actually (Home File Server). I originally was going to use a Gigabyte LGA 775 board, but apparently that socket type is rare. SO: Having thrown that board out the window on the highway, I did look at the CPU integrated boards starting with Intel. Those... suck. Atom processor at best. Now I'm looking at AMD, but I know jack squat about them. http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/AMD_CPU_on_Board/E45M1M_PRO/ That's the mobo in question. Any thoughts? Much appreciated!

Afternoon Currently I am setting up a computer for converting VHS to DVD. I am running an ASUS My Cinema P7131 Dual TV-Tuner on a dedicated Windows XP machine. I have the audio cables (white/red composite) connected to the Line-In of my Onboard Realtek audio port and the video cable (yellow) connected to my TV-Tuner from a VHS Player. I can watch the VHS record and listen to it (via a 3.5mm Audio cable running to speakers on the PC) and it is all fine, however when I record the audio is very fuzzy. I am currently trying Cyberlink Power Director and have previously used NCH Golden Video VHS to DVD converter and had identical problems, do you guys have any idea on what I can do to rectify this problem hoping to offer it as service to the local community.
