? about Roadrunner cable and phone

I will try to keep my spelling and grammar mistake to a minimum.

So i have Roadrunner cable internet and cable phone. Roadrunner is using a surfboard cable modem. Witch you then plug a normal phone line in to.

My ? is has any one managed to pull the SIP and other needed info out of one of these modems? So that you can use that info with a mobile SIP Phone. Or throw other device with SIP software.

That way you can place and get calls mobile SIP device using the number and account of your roadrunner internet phone. Any time you are near open WiFi network.
