Can't mount DL-DVDs with 7 plus GB single files on my MacBookPro

I know this is my first post but I hope you guys have mercy with me.

Anyway, I capture HD content from my HD cable box (SA 3250HD) through firewire and convert

the MPEG stream clip to a H. 264 mov file to fit a DL-DVD.

I use Toast 8 and brand name DL-DVDs like Phillips and Verbatim.  I tried the UDF and the Mac only option and

let Toast verify the disk after it was burnt and everything seems to be OK, but once I eject the disk and

want to insert it again it is not recognized by my DVD drive.
