TrotskysGhost Posted May 8, 2007 Share Posted May 8, 2007 I recently came into possession of 2 Compaq Proliant 6500 servers, along with a bunch of spare hardware. I've been trying to load an OS on to one, but it refuses to recognize the CD drives. This makes it hard to run a live distro, let alone install an OS. It won't even boot the Compaq SmartStart disc I burned. Does anyone have experience with this sort of hardware?
