CharleoWinkles Posted December 26, 2023 Share Posted December 26, 2023 Hello all, I've recently received a new LAN Turtle SD and when attaching the USB side of the device into my Window 11 PC I'm not getting any amber light. The green power light is active but the amber light never goes off to signify the device is booting. I'm also not receiving an IP from the device, and when doing using ipconfig I see the adapter as Ethernet 2 but Media State is disconnected. In Device Manager the device appears under Network Adapters as "Realtek USB FE Family Controller", I updated the drivers through Windows Update but still no luck on having any connection to the LAN Turtle. dark_pyrro Posted December 26, 2023 Share Posted December 26, 2023 Could be related to what has been described in what was the topmost thread in the Turtle section of the forums when you created your thread https://forums.hak5.org/topic/61057-trying-to-factory-reset-lan-turtle/ I.e. if it's brand new and doesn't behave, then submit a support ticket.
