Zius Posted November 7, 2023 Share Posted November 7, 2023 Hi, I was trying impacket tool, so i extracted the sam.save file and system.save file from my pc and i trasfered to my kali linux VMbox. I wrote in the terminal (after checking the right directory) impacket-secretsdump -sam sam.save -system system.save LOCAL, then the tool gave to me the hash of my account. So when i tryed to crack the hash with hashcat with a file containing five different password the program didn't crack anythings. Then i discovered that hash was from an old password. What can i do??
