question about ssid

Hello guys,

I'm currently playing around with my pineapple mark 7. 

I've setup a rogue AP with 4 SSIDs in the pool. Lets call them "A,B,C,D". Those are unique names and don't exist in my scanning range.

Now I see that sometimes a client connects and in the client overview list, they have different SSIDs then what I've listed in the SSID Pool. For example "E".

I don't really understand the reason of that. Why do they show up in my pineapple even tho I didn't setup that SSID "E"?

Ok, I solved it. I misunderstood what "allow associations" really does.

Allow associations is kinda like "enable spoofed responses"
