HackRF usb light not lighting up when connected to Windows 10

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I'm trying to connect HackRF One to my Windows 10 to use with GNU Radio Companion

When I connect it to my laptop, the 3v3, 1v8 and RF lights all turn on, but the USB light never turns on. Even in DFU mode, the USB light never turns on. My computer recognizes that the device is connected, but it has problems with the hackrf_open() function.

When running command line on windows, I type "hackrf_info" and get this:

C:\Users\nuju7>hackrf_info
hackrf_info version: git-92ee144
libhackrf version: git-92ee144 (0.5)
Found HackRF
Index: 0
hackrf_open() failed: Operation not supported or unimplemented on this platform (-1000)

I am unable to find any help online as to what may cause this or how to fix it. Any ideas?
