stickyrice
Hello, I'm not having any luck with out-of-the-box support for my Huawei E3276 USB dongle and was wondering if anyone had cracked getting this model to work? I picked this model up in Indonesia, so it might not be so common elsewhere. But several other Huawei models play nicely with the Pineapple, so I'm hoping that this one might be workable. Here's the log output: May 1 05:48:39 Pineapple kern.notice kernel: [ 471.480000] sd 7:0:0:0: [sda] Attached SCSI removable disk May 1 05:48:39 Pineapple kern.notice kernel: [ 471.470000] sd 7:0:0:0: Attached scsi generic sg1 type 0 May 1 05:48:39 Pineapple kern.notice kernel: [ 471.460000] scsi 7:0:0:0: Direct-Access HUAWEI TF CARD Storage 2.31 PQ: 0 ANSI: 2 May 1 05:48:39 Pineapple kern.notice kernel: [ 471.450000] scsi 6:0:0:0: Attached scsi generic sg0 type 5 May 1 05:48:39 Pineapple kern.notice kernel: [ 471.450000] scsi 6:0:0:0: CD-ROM HUAWEI Mass Storage 2.31 PQ: 0 ANSI: 2 May 1 05:48:38 Pineapple kern.info kernel: [ 470.450000] scsi7 : usb-storage 1-1.2:1.4 May 1 05:48:38 Pineapple kern.info kernel: [ 470.440000] scsi6 : usb-storage 1-1.2:1.3 May 1 05:48:38 Pineapple kern.info kernel: [ 470.310000] usb 1-1.2: new high-speed USB device number 7 using ehci-platform May 1 05:48:38 Pineapple kern.info kernel: [ 470.060000] usb 1-1.2: USB disconnect, device number 6 May 1 05:48:38 Pineapple syslog.notice usb_modeswitch: switching device 12d1:14fe on 001/006 May 1 05:48:37 Pineapple user.notice usb-modeswitch: 1-1.2:1.0: Selecting /etc/usb_modeswitch.d/12d1:14fe for mode switching May 1 05:48:37 Pineapple user.notice usb-modeswitch: 1-1.2:1.0: Manufacturer=HUAWEI_Technology Product=HUAWEI_Mobile Serial=? stickyrice
Visually, it looks identical to the HUA-UMG366, but I'm not sure about the internals.
