I kind of made an impulse buy.

I bought the Atheros Alpha, but not the normal one shown on the show. I bought the crazy looking one with the mini dish style antenna.

I'm also going to make a DIY Antenna using cookware, one of those things you use to make cakes. I have made one with a strainer before and that picked up lots of stuff.

So I guess this is my hobby. Does this sort of thing lead to big money?
