stingwray
Does anybody know of a way to force windows xp to refresh the images being used in the slideshow screensaver at regular intervals? If thats not possible then does anybody know of a script which could stop the screensaver at regular intervals? Unfortunatly this isn't my area of expertise but have been asked to solve this problem. Many Thanks.
PoyBoy
jeebos. no idea whatsoever. Maybe there is some feature that if you put a script in the pictures folder it would work?
Sparda
Change the directory that the slides are loaded from, then change it back... in the event that fails, you should delete the thumbnail cache windows generated.
stingwray
Well I'm trying to make it automated hopefully as I don't really want to do this every 2 hours. I think I might just look around for something else to replace the m$ slideshow which will hopefully check for changes in the directory. Thanks.
