I bought this network adapter and tried to use it to sniff data on my network with Wireshark under BackTrack, but it can't sniff anything, and I think it doesn't support promiscuous mode at all. I easily put it instead in monitor mode. So, anyone can tell me if it doesn't actually work in promiscuous mode?
