12600 Posted July 8, 2012 Share Posted July 8, 2012 My router supports WPS, no true way of shutting WPS off just options of putting it on push button method or Pin method. Router is Netgear WNR2000v2 with latest firmware. If I were to setup a MAC ID filtering list to specify only those devices with those specific Mac IDs could connect. I would only need to spoof my Mac ID to one of those Specified IDs before starting reaver? Or because the registrar is external the MAC ID Filtering List wouldn't matter for the attack but only when tried to connect to the network? Thank You for Clearing this up for me.
