Air Cards

Hey all, I am new to the fourms here so if there has been a post about this please dont kill me. I am looking for the best air card for my lap top without paying out the ass, im using it mainly for school, so that i can connect while not at home on my base. I need suggestions for different kinds and where i might be able to look, i checked out places like Verizon and AT&T but i know there are other's out there. Thanks in advance!!

Ting has some affordable plans and their devices are either USB or mobile hotspots so you shouldn't have any trouble connecting them to your Mac.
