$500?

Maybe...

I love the Antec 900 XD, ram is great..

However your hard drive is sad, water cooling is nice but its a dual core...

idk $600?

Umm, hard drive is a WD Raptor 10.000RPM, the CPU its an Intel Q6600 Quad core, not dual core.

Depends on where you live bud, that computer in the States would probably cost 6 or 7 hundred usd second hand, europe is a little more expensive and south America/Asia it'd easily be 12 or 1300 usd.

I live in Australia and I've spent around $5000.00 dollars to build it, in addition to upgrades parts I bought over the years I had it.

Furthermore, I would be very lucky if I get $1000.00 dollars for it.

Anyway, thanks for your input.

1000 dollars??? Wow that seems a bit high. Maybe because the parts/computers are more expensive in oz than America but you wouldn't be so fortunate in the states.

Unless he sells the PC to a complete noob, I sold my old severely USED gaming PC for 1,300 and I built it with $800, just fresh install the OS and remove the non-essentials, and the noobs will never know the different. Remember it been report that people love $20 wine when they are told it cost $150, google it. But I suggest that you consider the bitcoin miner option.

I've heard of Bitcoin miner before, but not sure how to use it. Will need to do some reading to understand it better, thanks everyone for the replies.

  • 2 weeks later...

Hey let me know if you find a really good in-depth tutorial/how-to on bitcoin mining. I have been reading into it recently but still want to know more about it, and whether or not it will be profitable. Could be interesting.

Yeah, I'm yet to find a good tutorial, until then I'm still looking for one.
