Guest Deleted_Account Posted July 6, 2010 Posted July 6, 2010 (edited) I have been using my old Trendnet router (from 2005) since my normal CISCO router died a painful death after i was experimenting. Anyways after 2 hours of looking for updates so i actually had WPA-AES and then flashing too update *.BIN files i added my 64 Char password and truned on WPA-AES. all good except about once every 12 or so hours i have to unplug and replug in the router as it freezes. Any one know what the cause might be? I'm guessing just age and the fact it was added in a FW update maybe the hardeware isn't good enough for it. Edited July 6, 2010 by x942 Quote
Sparda Posted July 6, 2010 Posted July 6, 2010 Try a shorter (by about 10 characters) key, I had a router that did some thing similar when using the longest possible key. Quote
