Charles
I set it up as a local DNS server that isn't accessible from the internet (it's behind my router's firewall and an iptables firewall on the server itself). I just want to make sure that it is as secure as possible, even tho I doubt it would be compromised. Any suggestions for securing this server, or where to start? Sparda
Did you set it up so that entries are added from DHCP?
Charles
I added the entries manually, since I couldn't figure out how to get the damned thing to use dynamic DNS. I did disable recursive lookups, and added my ISP's DNS servers to the DHCP scope. I don't know if that will make is any more secure tho.
