GeekGoneCrazy Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 My router is failing, again! Its a 2wire 2701HG-B last one was 2wire 1000HW. My ISP is AT&T. I'm looking for something fast and reliable. Preferably at least gigabit ethernet. Also thinking no wifi and will just hook a router up to it to do all the heavy work. Any ideas on a good modem? Sparda Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 I used to have a Linksys AG241, it broke (after 8ish years), replaced it with a Linksys wag320n which has a gigabit switch, duel band wireless adapter and a file server all in one box. Admittedly I'll probably never use the duel band as intended, if I need a N and G network at the same time I'll just plug in a spare wrt54g. Quote
