RAZEHELL Posted May 12, 2009 Share Posted May 12, 2009 I have downloaded ferret and hamster. winpcap and installed winpcap now I open a command line head over to my folder where ferret and hamster is located and run ferret but I get an error I type in ferret -w and I get timeout(1): unknown linktype - 0 <expected Ethernet or Wifi> Can someone help me out what am I doing wrong thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
taiyed14 Posted May 12, 2009 Share Posted May 12, 2009 first off, you need to use a captial W. ferret -W that will display a list of adapters that you can then choose to start the capture on. ferret -i 2 or ferret -i eth0 ferret will start from hamster's web interface.
