VNC via SSH

Hello,

I'm having issues connecting TightVNC via SSH (FreeSSHd). I watched Series 1 Episode 7 where Darren put together an easy step-by-step guide. I can connect via Putty no probs but when i try to connect via VNC after i logged in with Putty I get the error "Connection Closed".

I have enabled "Allow Loopback connections" in TightVNC, and in Putty under the Tunnelling Section I have inputted "5900" for the Souce Port and "127.0.0.1:5900" for the Destination.

I can connect VNC via the IPaddress but not the Localhost which i need to use the SSH. In VNC i am putting in 127.0.0.1:5900 or 127.0.0.1 as the server address. I have also tried "localhost:5900".

Are there additonal setup configurations anywhere else ie windows firewall, putty, vnc (both machines run on Windows XP with SP3)?? Any suggestions grately appreciated???

PS Hello to All :P
