    Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there a tool that ships with U3 drives to remove the cdrom partition?? Either ine did, or I got it form the U3 site itself, but check on the drive, there might be tools on there to disable the cdrom portion and re-enable it when needed. Deleting the files themselves will break the drive and although it will work as storage, I think it will foobar when formatted as bootable.

    Oh, and its Digi-P, pronounced like "Digi" in Digital and Pee as in the letter P.

    Sandisk has the U3 Removal tool for their Sandisk U3 cruzer micro drives.

    Installer Tool: http://mp3support.sandisk.com/downloads/LPInstaller.exe (Only if you want to reinstall the U3 Software)

    Now on to figuring out why the internet does not work after I have booted BT4 from USB drive :?

    You can issue /etc/init.d/networking start into the terminal to start the networking and assign the PC and IP address.

    Ahh.. Half life 2, lost coast eh? that was a pretty good walkthrough (just wish it lasted longer)

    ipod nano 5th gen

    just popping in. been a while. wanted to ask a quick question

    i figured out that im getting a new black ipod nano http://www.apple.com/ipodnano/

    i looked into rockbox because... well it beats the hell out of the standard firmware with compatibility alone. i wanted to dual boot the firmwares. but sadly there isnt a build of rockbox for the new ipod.

    so my question is am i stuck using apple's standard firmware or does anyone know of a good firmware and can dual boot with?

    Yes I am afraid so. At least until they crack the newer ipod nano's.

    I believe the only ipod nano's cracked so far are the 2G Nano and the (4G Nano - Partially Cracked).
