Once I saw the episode with the rainbow tables, I followed the tutorial mentioned above and also went through generating the tables (3gb), yes I could of downloaded them but I wanted to learn how to do this (the whole process from start to finish), yes it takes time but I felt happier going through the entire process rather than just downloading the generated table then annoying people into what do you use them for now.

    Once I had them generated I tested using them on my OWN laptop to see how they work now, i was happy how the whole process worked it takes time but it was fairly simple to follow

  2. Recently I upgraded a couple of PC to Adobe Acrobat reader 8, once I had opened a PDF the Adobe updater would run at 100%cpu grinding the box to a halt, also I could not kill it I had to reboot my machine. Since I have downgraded to Acrobat 7 the problem has gone away

  3. Visit an apple store act stupid like you know nothing about computers and see if they will take it away for you, my friend done it acted all dumb etc and Apple told him to send it away and they gave him a new one

    Maybe worth a go

  5. I have got a WD MyBook 250GB USB external drive which today, has stopped working, in Windows it is saying unrecognized device, does anyone know of a safe way of opening the enclosure so I can plug the drive into another case I have to check if the drive is ok?

  6. For me the macbook pro, i have had a couple of compaq's in the past and they have not come close so far...... ie battery life, reliability etc

    Even better since I have installed parallels on the lappy to test other os's
