  1. I have the same thing.

Go to your router webmin page. In the basic settings there is an Idle timeout setting. this should be set to 0 (zero) to maintain a permanent connection. Your ISP will probably disconnect you after an hour or so of idle time, but the router will reconnect automatically with this setting.

And unless you have a static IP set up with your ISP, it (your IP) will change every 24 hours.

    Hope this helps.

there is no option for the timeout setting. but i think i fixed it last night by updating the firmware. if it still does it I'll reply so i can get more ideas.

  2. I need some help with my internet, for some reason when i leave my computer alone for a hour or so my internet connection kills itself. it says limited or no connectivity. i have a cable internet and i run it through a netgear router to my computer and my sis's, my computer is the only one that does this so i think it mite be a setting in my computer, anyone have any idea why?

  3. looks like it will be a while before i can even afford a cheap laptop, my step dad left my mom so now that leaves just my moms income and my income, and even after that we still have a $1,000 of bills to pay so its going to be a long time till i can afford one. :( :( :( :(

  4. I was wondering if anyone new of a site where I can get a laptop dirt cheap, or if anyone had an old laptop there willing to sell me or if they have one they don't want. I had one a few years ago but i had to sell it so i could have money to survive.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanx in advance

  5. I like it, and think its a good idea. i also use there site to download there shows.

I'm wondering what you guys opinion is on our embedded player for the website. Currently we're using Veoh, which is nice because they download our content directly from our MP4 feed, something I haven't seen from other video portals. They also seem to have much higher video quality than say youtube. This is likely because they don't have the 100mb limit that youtube has. Since our episodes are quite long I am forced to render out a much lower bitrate version just to upload to youtube.

Anyway I'm wondering what you guys think. I'm specifically talking about episode pages like http://www.hak5.org/archives/210

  6. maybe with more info people mite download it

I'm sorry but please explain how he doesn't have enough information? He has one of the best wiki entries, it is more informative than most, what specifically were you looking for ?
