  1. Hi Robin, Yes I have actually, I contacted suport and Darren replied sending a replacement unit in case it was hardware realted. It seems it must have been as the new replacement with exactly the same config works for me now.. Although now getting tempted by the MK VII :)
  2. @RobinEd Hey, I tried without the additional device and confirm mine does the exact same even after zapping and trialling several times. Shame about the pineapple, I'll keep persevering I've logged a support call for it so hopefully @Darren Kitchen @Foxtrot or @Sebkinne will be all over it.🤓 It seems like a PineAP, Kernel/Firmware or driver issue from what I've seen but will see what the guys come back with! Thanks for replying have a good rest of your weekend.. Bob
  3. Hi All, Is it possible to perform a sysupgrade to openwrt 19.07.03 while still retaining the Pineapple config (or backing up and restoring the config) or is it only possible with new firmware? Also on a similar note is it possible to upgrade the wireless drivers to the latest on a Pineapple? Thanks Bob
  4. @Foxtrot - Any ideas mate? It definitely seems to occur as soon as you enable Pine AP without the additional adapter I have. It seems to happen as soon as you start Pine AP and the errors increase as you perform a recon etc. CPU was at 10% until Pine AP enabled then goes to 24% when enabled then around 36% after a recon Mem: 45572K used, 13984K free, 164K shrd, 5544K buff, 13696K cached CPU: 24% usr 28% sys 0% nic 41% idle 0% io 0% irq 5% sirq Load average: 0.85 0.59 0.32 1/55 3359 PID PPID USER STAT VSZ %VSZ %CPU COMMAND 3289 1 root S 7064 12% 35% /usr/sbin/pineapd /tmp/pineap.conf 1915 1 root S 3264 5% 10% /usr/sbin/hostapd -P /var/run/wifi-phy0.pid -B /var/run/hostapd-phy0.conf Slowly with more errors - ath: phy1: Short RX data len, dropping (dlen: 3) these continue even after you switch PineAP off. Once I add my relink into the mix and it communicates with CloudC2 the number of errors increase more rapidly. Shortly after the Pineapple locks and it either resets itself or I do. Not sure if this is an openwrt bug, Pine AP thing or a driver thing, Any ideas? Happy to try anything to get this working whether upgrading to the latest version of OpenWRT or driver.... Not sure how though I'm not that clever 🙂 @RobinEd - Did you manage to sort your issue? Thanks Bob
  5. alternatively is there a different cheap & small usb wifi card we know don't cause these issues and I'll purchase that? Thanks Bob
