Hay The title says it all really, I know ubertooth needs to be operated with an additional BT dongle but I am not sure why. Can anyone one help explain why? Thanks

Hay Everyone I have a question about Bluetooth, I am want to access the GAP and Security Modes of a device but I am unsure on how to do this. Is anyone here experienced in bluetooth hacking? I would think decompiling the drivers would be a good indication but what about devices where these aren't provided such as pair and go devices? Thanks
