Are you completely sure that it is due to the 12v DC? I am experiencing the same issue with both the 12v DC and battery pack. The only thing that has given me access to the adm wifi has been factory resetting the pineapple, then the admin will work until the next time I disconnect it from power.

The issue still consists, but even the change to a short SSID has not given any results. I tried changing it to a 5 letter word which should work but after disconnecting the power I am having problems again. Have anyone found a better fix for this yet?
