    Rubber Ducky SPI Protocol

    I'm sure you have had this question asked many times in the past, but is it/would it be possible for an owner of a rubber ducky to update the SPI Protocol on their own to allow for faster speeds in a TwinDuck setup or is it a concrete set part of the device. I understand that the upgrade would cost a bit just wondering if it's possible.

    Havenbreaker - Is it possible that something got changed? My client "#" is black .... as well as my "ssid" on dashboard but the time is still "white".

    Ive tried many browsers and cache refresh. As well as using it on my phone. Same thing.

    @Just_Another_Node I have pushed an update there was a small bit of the CSS that was being overtaken by the preset element.style functions in the base html file I have corrected that.

    1337 Mode should totally be a module! Love it!

    That was a thought of mine however when it comes to code I can analyze and break stuff down but writing it myself is still a problem for me.

    This is awesome! Now if only there were some Evil Portal templates as flashy as this, or similar to an actual WiFi hotspot. (I'm sure there are, but I'm not able to find any)
    I think this could be arranged I have been looking in the possibilities of implementing reCaptcha into my EvilPortal page to allow for a timing buffer and give the page a more legitimate look. If I get it working I will be sure to post it up and let people take their turns breaking it down and making it better.

    Yeah this seems to be happening on the new firmware as well. A problem I have is if the first probe is my home network and it gets added to the ssid list then I can't delete it because of the previous topic mentioned. As I'm running pine ap fully open and I am using up Wlan1 , I use the 036neh adapter for wlan2 to connect Internet from my home network. It seems as if my network is added in the pineap ssid list overtime wlan2 drops and I can't reconnect due to a. My network not showing up on scan or b. It reads "false". I hope this helps with some trouble shooting. I know Sebkinne is already aware of the client mode issue as well, but for some reason I think this all ties together.

    One way top stop your home network from being added is do a Recon Scan and then add it to the SSID Filtering list in Deny Mode and it will keep unwanted networks from being added to the Pool.

    Clicking on help and then "Dashboard" will open wrong tab thing.

    Also, my PineAP is acting weird (keeps turning off if I refresh page, but stayed on after 5th attempt or so)

    @RobinTheKayOh I have submitted a Bug Report for the Help Module issue you brought up and Sebkinne is working on the PineAP issues today and an update through Module Manager should be available later on today.

    Yes, as I mentioned it was formatted on the Pinapple (using the Advanced option). Same for the second one. Oddly the second one didn't register the card until I formatted, even though it had already been formatted with the previous firmware (both formatted by the Pineapple)
    Sorry missed that part but,

    the Pineapple format fuction uses 1GB of the card for Swap space

    Great work guys!

    noob question, I have the Alfa wireless dongle from the shop plugged into the USB on the bottom (the input port opposite side of the blue light), with the other (host) side plugged into a Linux box. I'm seeing

    • br-lan
    • eth0
    • lo
    • wlan0
    • wlan1
    • wlan1mon

    in the Networking Advanced, but the dongle seemed to register properly in the report. Should it auto report as a wlan2, or do I need to do something?

    Second question, I have a freshly formatted (on the Pineapple) 4GB SD card which is being reported as

    Does the Pineapple have trouble with 4GB cards? Its possible I suppose there is something wrong with the card (bad blocks)

    FW-1.0.2 Sanity Check

    If you add a list of SSIDs to the PineAP Pool and then try to remove the 1st SSID from the list going down through the individual SSID remove feature it will remove the entire list and will not allow the list to be repopulated with the other SSIDs until you do a full Pool clear.

    How to reproduce:
    Manually add or allow PineAP to add more then 1 SSID to the PineAP Pool
    Select the first SSID in the list going down so that it is populated in the blow field for ADD/REMOVE
    Select to Remove the SSID and the entire list will be cleared
    You can re-ADD the selected SSID and remove it however the other SSIDs cannot be re-added until you select "Clear SSID Pool" from the SSID Pool Dropdown.

    Has anyone else run into this?

    So I know we all have our own little tweaks and CSS magic that we may or may not perform on our Pineapples, but I welcome all that have their own interesting customizations to share. I am new to the community as a owner with the Nano being my first piece of hardware but have been following the Pineapple and it's community for years... \*Not Stalkerish at All*\...

    I posted a few pictures of my CSS trial by fire magic that I have been working on in another thread and would like to thank Darren for sorta spawning it's naming idea.

    Concern on Web UI Security

    I think the concern may be if a connected target joins the network then for some reasons getting curious as to what might be hosted on port 1471 of the gateway. -- ya know, like your average users tend to do, right?

    That edge case aside, I'd say given the creativity of the community as illustrated above, this may be an opportunity for a fun module.

    Also -- I like your CSS Havenbreaker! One of the initial dream features has been a dark "1337 mode" (for night time use) but we keep pushing it back as it's rather low priority. It seems you've already taken a pretty good stab at it :)

    @darren I just got the mobile render to play nicely with the "dark "1337 mode"" shrinking and enlarging my desktop browser in emulator mode to get the different CSS to kick off was "fun" per say...

    @audibleblink I have been messing with the CSS for the past few weeks and that visible background has been bugging the heck out of me thanks for pointing out that format line I finally have all my CSS running in a fairly streamline format minus a few borders here and there...

    Hi all,

    Just caught up with this post and couldn't find an eta on the modules.

    I did do some work with the pine app but nothing real fancy yet.

    Just getting familliar with the gui, ssh, sdcard, mdk3 and the default airmon-ng, aircrack, airplay-ng commands as usual and some routing configuration.

    Now that I know the basic stuff, I would like to create/write some modules like using sslstrip.

    I do have experience with sslstrip on Kali linux and I want to introduct it to the nano.

    Do you have a starting point of how to create a module?

    For example, if you could tell me for example that I need to write a script in, eg. python, and add the pointing entry to the script to a module file, eg. /etc/modules.conf then that would be cool.

    I don't have a clue of where to start.

    I am not asking for a complete write down as that would take to much time but a starting point would be great.

    So basicly I got questions; has there already been mentioned an eta on the modules availability and I really would like to start with the sslstrip on the nano but I am stuck due to the lack of python-twisted-web. I can't download it via the normal repositories and I don't want to manually change the repos to another destination. When will the python-twisted-web package be available? Or if you have another brief instruction of how to setup sslstrip on the nano that would be great ( I prefer not to wait on the update as seb stated before, so any help would be great ).

    What is holding up the modules on the nano, ? Are we waiting for the module developers to re code or HAK5 to allow them to ? I feel like the momentum is fading...

    @Kalijane The main thing holding up modules is the fact that the Nano is still in development and evaluation phase and as it has been put out there will be a firmware update pushed out at some point this week that will update the Modules section and begin the flow from developers to consumers. I'm not quite sure how momentum is fading... but to each their own.

    Great video! This one really helped me out. Darren you mention that it's not recommended to run the "client mode". How do I know if the "client mode" is on? Is this the same as the access point you setup in the beginning so you can browse to the Pineapple Dashboard from the WiFi SSID you setup for the Pineapple?

    The Client mode Darren is talking about is if you didn't have a device to tether to your Nano or to provide an internet connection to. Under the Networking Tab on the Browser interface you can use the secondary card to actually connect to a wifi network to provide that internet connection. The process that Darren steps through at the beginning of his video is running the WP6.sh script to share an internet connection through the Ethernat-over-usb functionality that the Nano has from his working computer.
